This is Burny’s attempt at replicating Slash’s Les Paul.
Finished in Appetite Amber/Honey Burst, it sure is a beauty.
It sports a solid maple cap with a flamed veneer and features VH-4 pickups.
The figured/ribboned mahogany on the back is really quite nice.

It goes without saying that these are very desirable guitars because of their great quality and affordable price tag. As they become rarer and more vintage as time goes by, they are becoming gradually harder to find, even domestically in Japan.

This guitar shows some signs of wear with a couple dings on the top and some of the finish chipped near the rim of the body.
On the back side are scratches and what appears to be the aftermath of an attempted strap button relocation.
The guitar is a little body-heavy, which would explain the attempt to relocate the strap button and balance the guitar.

Other than that, it plays wonderfully and is worth every penny.
To be honest, some of us here would forget that we weren’t playing a Gibson.

These older Japanese guitars are a much better deal than any modern day Les Paul copy.
Slap in some Duncan Alnico2 pros and you have yourself a Slash Les Paul for less than half the price!
