Thanks for the interest!

We also do commissioned guitar hunts on the Japanese market, so feel free to message us if you have something in mind or even if you are unsure. We can make recommendations that suit your taste to the best of our knowledge.

Here we have a 2007 Gibson Les Paul BFG in Trans Gold.

These are bare-bones guitars that have their own cult following. With a P90 in the neck, a Burstbucker 3 in the bridge and even a kill switch, this model is one that stands out both visually and tonally and we recommend it to any guitarist that doesn’t have one in their arsenal.

BFGs are such great Les Pauls; they walk the talk and are no-nonsense workhorses.

Not to mention the badass looks!

These are so great that even the great Gary Moore had his own signature version!

That speaks for itself ;)

【Specs and condition】

Being a “barely finished guitar” it is hard to tell what is a scratch and what isn’t, but other than a couple minor dings, it is in very good condition! Many of the rough patches seem to be just the natural quality of the wood.

The satin/matte finish is amazing to the touch and the guitar simply sings/vibrates/breathes very well due to the thin finish.

No issues or repairs with the guitar at all and it plays amazingly.

It looks to be from the factory, but there seems to be a spot with a little less wood than usual near the neck pocket (see our photos). It’s nothing major and won’t affect the guitar at all, but we like to be transparent.

- Comfortable Mahogany Neck, perhaps closest to a ‘59 profile? (Not too fat, not too thin)

- 22 Frets in good condition

- Rosewood Fretboard

- Mahogany Body

- Solid “Barely Finished” Maple Top

- Satin Finish in Trans Gold

- Gibson P90 in the neck and Burstbucker 3 in the bridge

- Very fun kill switch

- Independent wooden volume knobs and a wooden master tone knob

Comes with original hard case (but no documentation, unfortunately).

【Personal Impressions】

A great player with great looks! If you’re looking for something that does the job without the extra bling, this is your guitar! It’s no wonder why these have a cult following...

Amazing value for the price and the almost “serpentine” look of the top is definitely the killer.

Get it while it lasts!
