2009 Gibson Les Paul DC (Double Cutaway) Goldtop Drawback w/ Humbuckers

Here we have a 2009 Gibson Goldtop DC. We have reason to believe these may be part of a limited run for Japan, although we cannot guarantee it.  

【Specs and condition】

There are some minor signs of wear, as to be expected of something secondhand. No major damage and very cleanly kept except for the dings as shown in the photos.

The backplate even seems to have the original plastic protector on it.

3.3 kg (≒ 7.３ lbs)

Pickups are a Lead Pro and Rhythm Pro set.

The tailpiece has been replaced by the previous owner. 

Neck and trussrod are in good condition and frets still have much life in them. In very good working condition and plays flawlessly.

Comes with a 2000s Gibson hard case, however, the combination lock is nonfunctional. Unfortunately, there is no paperwork/case candy that comes with this one.

【Personal Impressions】

This particular one is light and very comfortable to play.

A great choice for those who want a bit more character than your standard goldtop. It’s especially great if you love darkbacks. The gold color on these are just right, not too yellow and not too brown, and reminds us of a Slash signature. 

So much character, playability and style for a fraction of the price of the single cutaway version.

It’s a no-brainer for us ;)
