One of the best looking and feeling guitars we have ever had the pleasure of even touching.
With specs from the True Historic series, such as a deeper dish carve, full hide glue construction and real Aniline dye, it’s an awesome deal. (True Historics, as you probably know, can easily fetch up to 7-8000 bucks and more...).
The condition is superb, with just a small chip near the edge of the toggle switch cavity. The finish is VOS, so please bear in mind that it will not look showroom-level glossy. Very nice and worn-in feel to it.
Unfortunately, the previous owner has sold the medallion on the back.
Also, the pickups have been replaced with Wizz Premium Clone PAFs.
The guitar just has this singing quality unplugged and the pickups sound absolutely amazing.
The dye has been bleaching unevenly, with more bleaching going on with the cutaway side. Also, there has been some color bleeding into the binding, but we think it just adds to the mojo.
The top looks gorgeous with the WIDE FLAME of the Hard Rock Maple and if you’re into lemon bursts, this one will turn out beautifully with a few outdoor gigs.
SUPER light and resonant at 3.6kg.
The neck profile is supposed to be a 1958, but it has a slightly slimmer feel. On the thicker side, no doubt, but not too thick, which 58s can be.
If there ever was a modern guitar to rival an original burst, it would be this.
We really do not think that there is a better guitar at this price.
Comes with the original Canadian case and COA etc.
